CHICAGO (STMW) – A man was stabbed to death in the West Side Lawndale neighborhood early Saturday.
The man, 28, was stabbed in the chest about 12:25 a.m. in the 1200 block of South Sawyer Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said. Responding police officers found him unresponsive on the sidewalk.
Marlon L. Vaughn, of the 3400 block of West Douglas Boulevard, was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital at 1 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
