Male Shot In Head, Critically Wounded In Grand Boulevard

CHICAGO (STMW) — A person is in critical condition after he was shot in the head Tuesday afternoon in the South Side Grand Boulevard neighborhood.

The male, of an unknown age, was shot in the head about 2:45 p.m. in the 4500 block of South Champlain Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said.

Paramedics found him in critical condition, Zala said. Details on how the shooting unfolded were not yet known.

Area Central detectives are investigating.
