CHICAGO (CBS) — A body was discovered on the L train tracks near the LaSalle Blue Line station early Monday, police said.
A Chicago Transit Authority train conductor discovered the body about 1:45 a.m., said police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro, who added that the body was “dismembered.”
CTA workers briefly shut off power on the tracks after the body was found, according to unconfirmed dispatch reports.
