CHICAGO (CBS) — A person was found dead when a fire broke out at a home on the far Northwest Side, fire officials said.
The blaze erupted about 5:51 a.m. in the 5000 block of North Mobile Avenue in the Jefferson Park neighborhood, according to Fire Media Affairs.
Firefighters found a person dead at the scene, fire officials said.
A representative at the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office said he had not been notified of the death.
