(CBS) Heavy fog in San Diego Saturday postponed almost all of the Farmers Insurance Open’s third round, which means the tournament at Torrey Pines will come to a close Monday afternoon on CBS 2 starting at 3 p.m. CT.
Tiger Woods currently holds a six-shot lead over Brandt Snedeker with 11 holes to play on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. Snedeker has five holes remaining in his final round.
Play is set to resume at 1:10 p.m. CT with Golf Channel providing coverage until 3 p.m. CT. At that point, final round coverage will switch over to CBS where Woods will either pick up his first victory of the season or fall victim to an epic collapse.
With fog putting the tournament on hold Saturday, the competitors played their third round Sunday and turned around quickly to start their final round. Darkness suspended play about two hours into Woods’ final round, with him shooting 3-under through seven holes. Woods is currently -17 on the weekend.
