Another Hair Salon Robbed, This Time In Chicago
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Another hair salon has been robbed in similar fashion to several other recent holdups.
Police confirm that a Great Clips located at 1005 W. Webster in Lincoln Park was robbed just before 10 a.m. Tuesday
The man walked in, demanded money and displayed a weapon.
No injuries were reported.
Police can't confirm that this is the same man who has robbed other hair salons.
Last Wednesday, the robber entered the store at 118 Broadview Village Square around 11:30 a.m., displayed a weapon and demanded an employee give him money from the cash register. The robber fled with an undisclosed amount of money, Broadview police said in a news release.
Broadview police did not say whether they think that robbery was linked to a rash of holdups at other area hair salons, including in Skokie, Niles and Chicago. The robber's method in those incidents was similar.
