(CBS) Watch Antonio Canas work out wearing a high-altitude mask.

When working out in higher altitudes, the oxygen levels decrease, so you are not getting the proper amount of oxygen.

The goal is to gain more endurance at the time of the fight. Some of the top fighters in the world train in areas with low oxygen levels. One popular area is “Big Bear Lake”, which is located 25 miles Northeast of San Bernardino California. (pictured below)
