BATAVIA (STMW) – A man was killed and two others injured in a traffic crash in west suburban Batavia Friday evening.
The crash happened near Randall Road and McKee Street at approximately 6:20 p.m. on Friday, according to a release from Batavia police.
The driver of one of the vehicles, 61-year-old David A. Schele of Sugar Grove, was taken to Delnor Hospital in Geneva, where he died, police said.
There were two people in the other vehicle. They were both treated and released at the scene of the crash, police said.
Further details were not yet available and the cause of the crash remained under investigation as of Saturday morning.
