(CBS) Lauren Silberman, the first female athlete to try out at the NFL Combine, didn’t quite do as well as she hoped.

The former Wisconsin soccer player, who tried out at the NFL Regional Combine in New Jersey on Sunday, managed to get through just two kickoffs, netting 13 and 19 yards.

Silberman then exited the tryout with a quadriceps injury.

“They certainly didn’t go as far as they were in practices,” Silberman said, “but I tried to work through the pain.”
