Bears DT Melton Signs Franchise Tender

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (CBS) -- Defensive tackle Henry Melton signed his franchise tender for the Bears Tuesday.

Melton made the Pro Bowl last season after recording six sacks, two forced fumbles and 33 tackled in 14 starts. The defensive tackle has started 29 of 45 games in three seasons with the Bears.
