Bears Sign Pro Bowl Tackle Jermon Bushrod

(CBS) -- The Chicago Bears have signed two-time Pro Bowl tackle Jermon Bushrod to a five-year contract.

The contract is reportedly worth $35.965 million over five years with $17.715 guaranteed.

Bushrod, 28, spent his first six seasons with the Saints, starting in 62 games over his last four seasons. Bushrod has started all in 16 games in each of the last three seasons at left tackle.

The 6-foot-5, 315-pound former fourth-round draft pick was voted to the Pro Bowl in 2011 and 2012.
