Derrick Rose Offers To Help Pay For Some Of Jonylah Watkins' Funeral Expenses
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Funeral services have been set for 6-month-old Jonylah Watkins - gunned down this week on the South Side.
The funeral will be at 11 Tuesday morning at New Beginnings Church at 66th and King. The wake, at 10 a.m.
Funeral Arrangements Set For Jonylah Watkins
New Beginnings is the church of Pastor Corey Brooks, who's been acting as a spokesman for the family of 6-month-old Jonylah Watkins.
Spencer Leak Jr. of Leak Funeral Home says visitation will be Monday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., at Leak Funeral Home at 7838 South Cottage Grove.
Bulls Guard Derrick Rose has approached the funeral home - through his agent to offer to pay for some of the expenses of the funeral.
Newsradio spoke briefly with the agent, who said he did not want to discuss it.
