By Craig Miller-
(CBS) Max Kellerman from HBO Boxing joined Craig Miller to preview the Timothy Bradley vs Ruslan Provodnikov fight which can be seen this Saturday, March 16th on HBO.
Hear Max discuss why Bradley chose to fight Ruslan Provodnikov. He says that Provodnikov can upset Bradley and take his WBO Welterweight Championship Title Belt.
Max gives his take on Bernard Hopkins and explains how impressive it was to see a 48 year old fighter beat a young champion like Tavoris Cloud. Kellerman is excited to see the rematch between Brandon Rios and Mike Alvarado. He agrees with Craig that the first fight between these two fighters was the fight of the year until Manny Pacquiao was knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez. He also agrees with Bob Arum and Roy Jones Jr. that there should be a fifth fight between Pacquiao and Marquez.
Hear him talk about Floyd Mayweather, Robert Guerrero, Canelo Alvarez and Austin Trout. Kellerman tells Craig that he wants to see a fight between Andre Ward and Gennedy Golovkin. He believes this can be the next big fight for HBO.
Craig asks Max when fight fans can see the next episode of 24/7. He explains why HBO produces the best boxing production in television.
Kellerman, along with Marcellus Wiley, is the afternoon drive host on ESPN radio in Los Angeles. He explains the difference between New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago sports radio. He says that talking boxing can work in LA because of the large hispanic population.
