Bears Sign DE Turk McBride

(CBS) In an effort to strengthen the depth of their defensive line, the Bears have signed defensive end Turk McBride to a one-year contract.

Over six NFL seasons, the 27-year-old McBride has registered nine and a half sacks, six forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries in 66 games.

McBride was drafted in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Chiefs.
