BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (CBS) — Weapons come in all sizes. A 20-year-old Bridgeview man was cahrged with allegedly useing his vehicle in a lover’s quarrel, reports WBBM’s Michele Fiore.
Witnesses say they saw Taylor Ziyad sitting in a Volkswagen Passat and his 23-year-old girlfriend standing next to the car near 64th and New England when their argument escalated. Somehow, police say the woman wound up on the hood of the car, but then slipped and fell on the ground.
That’s when police say Ziyad ran over his girlfriend’s legs and back, dragging her for a short distance. Her injuries do not appear to be life threatening, but she’s being treated at Advocate Christ Medical Center.
Ziyad appeared in court Sunday where bond was set at $250,000.
