Body Pulled From Marquette Park Lagoon

CHICAGO (STMW) — A body was being pulled from a lagoon in Marquette Park on the Southwest Side Friday morning.

The body of an unidentified male was being pulled from the lagoon at the park in the 6700 block of South Kedzie Avenue, a spokesman for the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office said.

The body was that of a male, but his age was not known, the medical examiner’s office spokesman said about 11:30 a.m.

The Chicago Police Department’s Marine Unit was on the scene but police had no additional details.
