Briggs Reponds To Collins' Coming Out With Odd Tweets
(CBS) Bears linebacker Lance Briggs is taking an odd approach in responding to Jason Collins' announcement in Sports Illustrated today.
In the wake of Collins coming out as a gay man, Briggs tweeted: "Pretty heavy news day in the sports world! How is everyone?"
After receiving several responses, Briggs began responding to tweets asking him his thoughts on Collins' news by saying things like "How about those Bulls!!!" and "Tough 6-4 Loss last night for the Cubs!"
