Bears Terminate Contract Of Andre Fluellen

(CBS) The Bears terminated the contract of vested veteran Andre Fluellen Monday.

The 6-2, 302-pound defensive tackle never played a game for the Bears after signing with the team earlier this offseason. Fluellen has played in 56 games over five seasons with Detroit (2008-12) and Miami (2012), recording 52 tackles, 2.5 sacks and one forced fumble.

The move makes room for the addition of another veteran or undrafted free agent.
