Man Killed In Far South Side Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) --A man killed in a shooting in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side early Sunday has been identified.
Officers responded about 2:10 a.m. to a call of a disturbance in the 12100 block of South Indiana Avenue and, while dealing with the disturbance, found a man unresponsive in a backyard, police said.
Malcolm Dobbey, 27, had a gunshot wound to the armpit and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 3:20 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Area South detectives are questioning a "person of interest," but the suspect has not yet been charged.
