Woman Critically Hurt In Back Of The Yards Domestic Incident
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A woman is in critical condition after she was stabbed in a domestic incident Sunday afternoon in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.
The woman, 24, suffered a single stab wound to the breast during a "domestic incident" about 1:15 p.m. near South Wolcott Avenue and West 52nd Street, police News Affairs Officer Joshua Purkiss said.
She was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, Purkiss said.
A suspect is in custody, but charges had not been filed as of Sunday evening, police said.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
