Top Recruit Committed To Notre Dame Flushes Letters From Alabama Down Toilet

(CBS) Top high school running back recruit Elijah Hood wants the world to know he's not going to play football for Alabama.

Hood, who ranked third among running backs by Rivals and 13th overall for the class of 2014, committed to Notre Dame in April, and he's tired of receiving letters from the Crimson Tide.

To get the message out that he's sick of hearing from Nick Saban and Co., Hood posted a video of him flushing his letters from Alabama down the toilet with the the caption #RollToilet.

The video has since been deleted.

Today, Hood tweeted an apology for his actions.
