Man Attempts To Sexually Assault Teenage Girl In West Lawn
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man attempted to sexually assault a teenage girl at gunpoint Monday morning in the West Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.
The suspect pulled a gun and forced the 14-year-old girl into an alley about 8 a.m. in the 6100 block of South Springfield Avenue, according to an alert from Area Central detectives.
The suspect is described as a white man 18-23 with an olive complexion, 5-foot-6 and 120 pounds with brown eyes, the alert said. He was wearing a white baseball cap, baggy white shirt and black shorts.
