LAKE VILLA, Ill. (STMW) – An autopsy on twin 25-year-old brothers found dead in Lake Villa were still being performed Friday afternoon, June 28, and a positive identification is still pending.
The official identification is being hampered by the deterioration of the bodies caused by the heat and humidity earlier this week. The brothers were found dead after Lake Villa police were asked to do a well-being check late Thursday morning.
Police said the two male family members were found inside their home in the 0 to 100 block of West Grand Avenue just before noon. Police were asked to check on them and they forced their way inside. Drug paraphernalia was found inside the home and no foul play is suspected.
The Lake County Major Crime Task Force was assisting Lake Villa Police.
