CHICAGO (STMW) — Two females were shot Monday in the South Side Roseland neighborhood.
The shooting occurred at 1:45 p.m. in the 10200 block of South State Street, police News Affairs Officer Daniel O’Brien said.
One female was shot in the chest and taken in serious condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, O’Brien said. A second female was taken to Roseland Community Hospital in “stable” condition with a gunshot wound to the arm.
Area South detectives are investigating.
