CHICAGO (STMW) – A fire spread to three buildings Thursday afternoon in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

The fire started in a 1 1/2 story brick building in the 4000 block of West Adams Street, according to Fire Media Affairs. Reports indicate the blaze started around 2 p.m.

The blaze, which was elevated to a still-and-box alarm, spread to a four-story apartment building to the east and a two-story brick building to the west, the fire department said.
