Cubs, Sox Prospects To Play In All Star Futures Game

(CBS) — Second baseman Arismendy Alcantara of the Cubs and righthander Andre Rienzo of the White Sox will play in the 2013 All Star Futures Game.

Alcantara, 21, is hitting .280 with 13 home runs and 22 stolen bases at Double A Tennessee. Rienzo, 25, has a 6-6 record and 4.47 ERA in 18 starts at Triple-A Charlotte.

Both Alcantara and Rienzo will be playing on the World team. The game will be played at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Citi Field in New York.
