(CBS) — An 11-year-old boy was pinned under a van inside the Woodland Middle School in Gurnee this afternoon and police say the driver of that van mistook the gas pedal for the brake.
Gurnee Police say the 67-year-old driver of the Honda minivan hit the wrong pedal and backed his vehicle into the northeast entrance of Woodland Middle School.
The van pinned an 11-year-old boy,a 6th grader, and the fire department says it took four minutes the free him with the “Jaws of Life.”
