Two Men Shot In Roseland

CHICAGO (STMW) — Two men were shot Thursday night in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The two were walking near South Normal Avenue and West 112th Street when several gunmen approached on foot and opened fire, police said.

The gunmen then fled the scene on foot, said police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer.

One of the men, 48, was shot in the leg. The other, 24, was also shot in the leg, police said.

Information on the men’s conditions was not available. Police have not determined a motive for the shooting.

No one was in custody as Area South detectives investigated.
