Video: Pitcher Hits Batter In Head, Batter Throws Bat At Pitcher

(CBS) An ugly brawl erupted last weekend during a game in the Far West League between the Humboldt Crabs and the California Warriors.

Though details on the brawl are hazy, the video above clearly shows a batter being struck in the head by a pitch before throwing his bat at the pitcher.

Both benches then cleared and a mini-brawl ensued.

Based in California, the Far West League is a summer league for college players aimed to get the players used to wood bats.
