Website Shows Off Chicago-Themed Tattoos
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Some people's pride for Chicago runs deep. Skin deep.
Chicago Flag Tattoos, a local website that celebrates Chicagoans brave enough to get Chicago literally inked onto their skin, knows how to celebrate the "City of the Big Shoulders."
The site was started by Fuzzy Gerdes. Growing up, Fuzzy's family never stayed in one place for long. After being in Chicago for 11 years, Fuzzy decided to commemorate his love for the city that finally became his permanent home with a tattoo.
It was after getting his ink he realized he wasn't the only one around with a Chicago-themed tattoo. Curious about the personal stories behind the tattoos he saw, Fuzzy created Chicago Flag Tattoos.
