Man Slain While Riding Bike In West Pullman

CHICAGO (STMW) – A 29-year-old man was shot to death while riding a bike Thursday night near his West Pullman neighborhood home.
Dequantay Bingmon was on the bike on the Far South Side at 20 E. 120th Place about 8:45 p.m. when a shooter walked up and opened fire, authorities said.
Bingmon, of the 1200 block of South Michigan Avenue, was shot in the chest and back, said police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer. He was dead at the scene.
Nobody was in custody as Area South detectives investigated.
