Man Dies In SW Suburban Crash

CHICAGO (STMW) — A man was killed in a in a crash in southwest suburban Manahattan Township early Thursday, authorities said.

Richard Schroeder, 51, was killed after his pickup truck flipped over near the intersection of Schoolhouse and Delaney roads, according to the Will County Coroner’s office.

The coroner’s office concluded that Schroeder, who lived in southwest suburban New Lenox, died of multiple injuries “due to a pickup truck mishap.”
