(CBS) The Cubs have traded outfielder Dave DeJesus to the Nationals for a player to be named later.

Taking DeJesus’ roster spot is Brian Bogusevic, who was activated from the 15-day disabled list.

The 33-year-old DeJesus hit .250 with 19 doubles, six home runs and 27 RBIs in 84 games with the Cubs this season.
