(CBS) Former Bears defensive tackle Brad Culpepper survived nine seasons in the NFL.
Now he’ll see if he can survive 39 days in the game of Survivor.
On Wednesday, CBS announced Culpepper – along with 19 other “castaways” - will be a part of the show’s 27th season, which begins Sept. 18.
In this season called Survivor: Blood and Water, Culpepper will compete with his wife, Monica, who was featured on Survivor: One World.
The 44-year-old Culpepper, now an attorney, spent time with the Vikings, Bucs and Bears during his NFL tenure.
