(CBS) Former Patriots quarterback Tim Tebow is a free-agent, looking for an NFL team to call home.

But don’t expect the Bears, who currently have jus two quarterbacks on their roster, to make a run at the Heisman Trophy winner.

“I had the fortunate experience to see Tim live in college in two games and several practices,” Bears general manager Phil Emery wrote on team’s website. “Tim has a unique skill set. His intangibles are off the charts. Right now we have two quarterbacks and we’re going to stick with where we’re at with our roster. We have no future plans to consider Tim.”

It’s still unclear whether or not the Bears will add a third quarterback to back up Jay Cutler and Josh McCown.
