Six Hospitalized From Injuries At Riot Fest Music Festival

18-year-old Northwest Side resident Richard Polick tells WBBM he was at the Blink-182 concert.

"Everyone was there to see them, but everyone couldn't get a good view. So basically the whole crowd was pushing to get to the front. And that's when all the chaos started."

Polick says he just wanted to get out of the crowd.

"People were falling down toward the front because of all the people pushing. They were falling down and couldn't get up.

"People tried to get them up, including me - I was trying to get the people up - but there was people pushing from the back to the front. So it was like getting trampled on."

He says he and a friend tried to help people up - and would have them by the hand - but then the crowd would push forward and he wouldn't see them again.

Polick says he was not injured.

We've gotten no indication that any of the injuries were life-threatening.
