CHICAGO (CBS) -- She's not really Tina Turner - but she sings her songs on the streets of Chicago, WBBM's Steve Miller reports.

WBBM: Why Tina Turner?

"Because people always say I look like her. They've told me that for years."

Tina Turner Look-A-Like Sings On Michigan Avenue

Dorothy Roberson is looking and sounding like Tina Turner - on the corner of Michigan and Randolph.

"At 50 years old, I lost everything, my house and everything because of a marriage. I moved out of the state of Illinois. Moved down south and it didn't work out."

So she moved back in 2008. One night she went to a Tina Turner concert.

And she says people started looking at her.

"And slowly they began to come over to me and they said, 'Has anybody ever told you you look like Tina Turner? Can we get a picture?'

"And I looked up and we were surrounded by cameras. People thought I came there to impersonate her, but I honestly went there as myself... and after that, that is when I became Tina Turner."

Oh - and she also sings Etta James.
