(STMW) — A man and teenage boy were shot in the Little Village neighborhood Friday night.

The pair were on the street in the 4100 block of West 24th Place when shots rang out about 6:30 p.m., said police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer.

A 15-year-old boy was shot in the leg and an 18-year-old man was shot in the chest and both legs, police said.

The two told investigators they were on the street when they “heard shots and felt pain,” Greer said.

Police said the two found their own way to Mount Sinai Hospital, where they are both listed in “stable condition”

No one was in custody as Area Central detectives investigated.
