Teen Charged In Shooting Outside School

CHICAGO (CBS) -- An 18-year-old has been charged in the Wednesday afternoon shooting of a high school student on Chicago's Northwest Side.

Kevin Murchison will appear in bond court Friday.

The incident took place across the street from Roosevelt High School on West Wilson Avenue.

The 15-year-old victim suffered a minor gunshot wound to the leg and was taken to the hospital in good condition.

Murchison faces several charges, including attempted armed robbery and unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.
