Expert Picks: Bears Won't Keep Up With Saints On Lakefront

(CBS) Every week during the Bears season, our experts from 670 The Score, CBS2 and WBBM Newsradio 780 & 105.9 FM provide their weekly picks for the Bears game:

Brian Hanley Dan McNeil Terry Boers
Saints 27, Bears 24 Saints 38, Bears 23 Bears 27, Saints 24
Given my 1-3 record to this point, I have deferred my pick to Paul Baseer, GM of PredictionMachine.com. The computer ran the game - which Vegas has as a pick 'em - 50,000 times and the Saints won 56.4% of those simulations. Good enough for me. Because Drew Brees has never won at Soldier Field in four tries he's doomed? And Cutler was 7-1 against Detroit going into last weekend. #lazystatnarrative The great Dick Martin, who sadly is no longer Breathe-In, once told me there are no such things as gimmes when it comes to the NFL. Let that arrow fly. Bears 27, Saints 24.
Record: 1-3 Record: 3-1 Record: 3-1

My gut is screaming Bears at me on this one, but I can't find a single piece of analysis, matchup, X or O that favors them. Why won't Jimmy Graham and Darren Sproles go off? I expect a bounce-back performance from both the defense and Jay Cutler. Also, I'm not buying this Saints defense yet. Their last three games were against the Bucs, Cardinals and Dolphins. Plus, this line smells. Even in a lower scoring game than expected, the Bears can't find the end zone enough to keep up with New Orleans.

New Orleans isn't the same team on the road, but the Bears' defense isn't the same either. How are they going to stop Drew Brees to Jimmy Graham? Or to Darren Sproles? Or to Marques Colston? The Saints will prove to be too much to handle as the Bears drop to 3-2 on the season. Does it really matter how or why? As much as I want to believe the Bears can hang offensively with the Saints, one turnover could effectively end the game. Cutler, even when he's great, will cost you one a game. I'm also not sure who's going to cover Jimmy Graham effectively.
Record: 3-1 Record: 3-1 Record: 2-2

The Bears have shown us that they can light up the scoreboard. The problem is they've let the other team pile up the points too. It could be another shootout at Soldier Field, but the Brees coming off the Lake will be too strong. The Saints are a different team outside of the Superdome, but their scheme and talent works anywhere. The Bears are struggling to generate pressure with their front four, which won't bode well against Brees, Graham, Sproles, and Payton. The Saints confidence is peaking. The Bears defense is questioning itself (remember tackling?). New Orleans in a shootout.
Record: 3-1 Record: 3-1 Record: 2-2
