Teen Boy Wounded In North Side Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 15-year-old boy was shot in the Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side Friday evening.
The boy was standing in an alley in the 7400 block of North Hoyne Avenue about 6:20 p.m. when he heard gunfire and felt pain, police said.
The boy was shot in his lower back and leg. He was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston in "stable" condition, police said.
No one is in custody as Area North detectives investigate.
