Five Hurt In Aurora Crash

AURORA, Ill. (STMW) -- Five people were injured in a two-car crash Wednesday in west suburban Aurora, the Beacon-News is reporting.

The crash happened near West Galena Boulevard and North Edgelawn Drive, police said.

Juan Vargas, of the 1600 block of North Marywood Avenue, and his four passengers were taken to an area hospital to be treated for minor injuries following the crash, police said.. Vargas and Jessica Reyes, of the 800 block of North Randall Road, collided after Reyes failed to yield while turning left, police said.

Vargas and his passengers walked away from the scene, but were found nearby. Vargas was charged with driving on a revoked license, no insurance, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Reyes was cited for failure to yield on a left turn.
