CHICAGO (STMW) — Three people were injured Saturday morning when a semi collided with an earlier two-vehicle crash on the Dan Ryan Expressway on the South Side.
The crash involving the semi happened about 2:20 a.m. on the near 87th Street, according to the Illinois State Police.
The drivers of all three vehicles were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Two lanes of the expressway were closed for about 15 minutes, police said.
