Woman Injured In West Ridge Fire

(STMW) -- A woman suffered smoke inhalation after a fire Sunday in the West Ridge neighborhood on the North Side.

A still and box alarm was called about 1:25 p.m. for a fire at a two-story building in the 2600 block of West Rosemont, according to Fire Media Affairs.

A 64-year-old woman was taken to Swedish Covenant Hospital after suffering smoke inhalation, Fire Media Affairs said.

The fire was extinguished by 1:45 p.m.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
