(CBS) Last week, had you seen the headline, 'Shea McClellin Wins NFC Defensive Player Of The Week Honors,' you probably would've thought you were reading The Onion.
But you're not.
The second year defensive end did indeed earn NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors, after his 3.0-sack game against the Packers on Monday night.
According to the NFL, this marks the first time a Bears player has registered three sacks against the Packers.
It was McClellin's first sack that knocked Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers out of the game with a fractured collar bone.
