Cliff Alexander Picks Kansas; Jahlil Okafor Headed To Duke

(CBS) Highly-touted high school product Cliff Alexander has made his decision.

On Friday afternoon, the 6-foot-8 power forward out of Curie announced he will attend Kansas University.

Four schools entered Friday as finalists in the Alexander sweepstakes in Illinois, Kansas, Memphis and DePaul, with Alexander ultimately choosing the Jayhawks.

Whitney Young center Jahlil Okafor also announced he'd play his college ball at Duke.

Alexander, regarded as a consensus Top 5 player in the 2014 national class, is a legitimate candidate for Illinois' Mr. Basketball and will likely be a McDonald's All-American this season.
