CHICAGO (STMW) – A man was robbed and shot in the Archer Heights neighborhood early Friday.
The man, 39, was walking in the 4800 block of South Komensky Avenue about 2 a.m. when two males—one of whom was armed—approached him and announced a robbery, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
The man complied with the robbers’ demands and was then shot in the left shoulder, Greer said. The robbers fled with his wallet and cell phone.
The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition, Greer said.
