FOREST VIEW, Ill. (STMW) – A man died early Saturday when his car rolled over off the Stevenson Expressway and crashed into a tree near Harlem Avenue, state police said.

The crash happened about 3 a.m. when a 28-year-old Chicago man driving southbound on the Stevenson lost control of his car just east of Harlem, Illinois State Police Master Sgt. Dave Keltner said.

The man was dead at the scene, Keltner said.

Police believe alcohol and speed were factors in the crash.

ISP troopers are investigating.
