Hinsdale Middle School Reopens Tuesday After Mold Cleanup

(CBS) – Hinsdale Middle School was expected to reopen Tuesday, more than a week after the building was closed so that workers could remove potentially dangerous mold.

For the past 10 school days students had been going to a neighboring suburb for classes on a split shift schedule.

The middle school had to undergo extensive cleaning and inspections.

But work is done now, allowing students to return, officials said.
