CHICAGO (STMW) — A man was shot in the Fuller Park neighborhood on the South Side Monday night.

The 18-year-old was standing on the sidewalk in the 300 block of West Garfield Boulevard about 8:45 p.m. when a dark-colored sedan drove past, firing shots, police said.

The man was shot in the lower right leg and taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in “stable” condition, police said.

No one was in custody as Area Central detectives investigated.
